Calculation Principle

This calculator is based on physical mechanics principles. By analyzing the force and motion conditions of the conveyor belt system, it calculates the required torque and power for the driving drum, thereby determining the motor power and gear ratio.

Main Calculation Steps:

1. Calculate total load weight: Belt system weight + Product load weight
2. Calculate total friction force: Total load weight × Gravity × Friction coefficient
3. Calculate drum linear velocity: Running speed (m/min) ÷ 60
4. Calculate drum angular velocity: Linear velocity ÷ Drum radius
5. Calculate drum torque: Friction force × Drum radius
6. Calculate theoretical power: Torque × Angular velocity ÷ 1000
7. Calculate power with safety factor: Theoretical power × Safety factor
8. Calculate drum speed: Linear velocity × 60 ÷ (π × Drum diameter)
9. Calculate gear ratio: Motor input speed ÷ Drum speed
